"A not so Fancy Fluff Adventure"

In cloth diaper terms, "fluff" is a cloth diaper. Any cloth diaper really, there is no limitations on the word "fluff".
I decided to embark in "A not so Fancy Fluff Adventure" last month when I started getting asked questions about how OhFancyBaby compares to other brands. I honestly could not answer, not because I didn't want to, but because I have only used OhFancyBaby.


So, over the past month I have collected the following diapers to use in my adventure; Grovia AI2, G Diaper, Happy Heiney, Sun Baby, Fuzzibunz, Alva, Rumpkinz, Bum Genius, and Kawaii.



Over the next two weeks I will be blogging and videoing about each of these diapers on my daughter
(Felicity 16 months and 20 lbs) and a girl I babysit (Brooklyn 16.5 months and 30 lbs)


At the end of my adventure, both girls will be in OhFancyBaby so you can be the judge.
I'm not going to be bad mouthing the other brands; I will be sharing; honest facts, sizing, differences and price. This is not an adventure on why to choose OhFancyBaby, but to share true differences on different size children, because in reality cloth diapering is not for everyone, however there are several options out there, and these are just a few.

OhFancyBaby Meets ThirtyOne

OhFancyBaby has joined forces with Thirty One for a Great cause : ) I am looking for people to donate $20.00 to Central Coast Medical Oncology for their own Thirty-One thermal totes. Thirty-One is a company based on Proverbs 31: The Virtuous Women. This can be used by cancer patients to carry snacks, drinks, and medications that need to be chilled. The $20.00 donation will cover the cost of the thermal tote, embroidery, shipping/tax. Because this is a donation, you can keep your receipt for tax write-off purposes. New Year, New Stuff

With the New Year, I have decided I need to get back into the blog ... I have been neglecting it since OhFancyBaby has taken off, and realized I gotta do it :)

Felicity turned 1 on 1/1/12 ... How amazing she is. She finally got her first tooth last week and couldn't be more excited for it ... poor thing...Faith is growing tall and getting so smart and is ready to start kindergarten this Fall. We haven't decided where she is going to go, but I have full faith in the Lord that he will guide us to make the right choice for her.

OhFancyBaby has really grown, since the launch in September ... I couldn't be more excited for all the mommas jumping on board to not only grow with OhFancyBaby but are using OhFancyBaby !!

OhFancyBaby  was born when a stay at home mom became very passionate about cloth diapers, due to the fact that her newborn was allergic to regular diapers. As simple as cloth diapering can be, she got caught up in all the questions and doubts about cloth diapering that she decided to make it simple for all the mommies and daddies that want to save money and be more gentle to their babies. With that, Fancy Pants was born; the all in one pocket cloth diaper with a micro-suede inner lining, and an outer super soft and cozy fancy minky or the fancy original outside. They come with 2 inserts either the double fluffed microfiber insert or the all natural fluffed bamboo. With Fancy Pants cloth diapers she decided she needed wet bags and other accessories. That is when Fancy Mama was born. Fancy Mama products are all made by stay at home moms who have an amazing God given and blessed gift to sew and be creative. Fancy Mama Products include; wet bags, reusable wipes, toy blankets, nursing covers and more to come. The final Fancy product that was created are Fancy Flowers, these are made by a stay at home mom, she has an amazing husband who  supports her Fancy Adventures and she also has 2 girls whom are 7 months and 4 years old, Felicity and Faith who are her main reason for creating OhFancyBaby. Coming Soon...

We just got back from our yearly Summer Vacation up at the lake. Nothing like tenting it for a week with two kiddos and thankfully one dog. Our neighbors were kind enough to watch the corgi's and the kitty for us. We had a blast though, the weather was some what perfect and the bugs were at a minimum and we have some great and well behaved kiddos... so piece of cake right ? It was a nice getaway but now we are back to the daily grind ...

I have some new things up my sleeve that I'm starting to get really excited about, I'm hoping that my passion for this grows only stronger and that I succeed as much, if not more that what I'm imagining. A new business can take up to a year to get going so please pray for patience and endurance as I embark in my awesome new adventure.

Back in the Blog

So I feel like I haven't blogged in months, probably because it has been over a month... I think.

I have had a lot of family stuff going on causing me to be out of town and not myself lately, but as I'm starting to get ready for a certain someones 4th Birthday I though I should update my blog and the rest of my life.

You heard it right my not so little princess is turning 4 !!!

I'm having a really hard time excepting the fact that my little girl is getting to be so BIG. I can only imagine how I'm going to be when she goes to school. However, I'm having an even harder time with the other princess who started crawling, sitting up and blowing raspberries (thanks to grandpa) all in the last week or so. 
 

What characters these two are together, Faith is thrilled that Felicity is starting to interact and play now, it's AWESOME that these two are so in love with each other. But don't you dare take a toy from Felicity, she is a screamer lol and holds her own that is for sure.

In other news, I'm still trying to figure out my nitch, I'm continuing making flowers and headbands but it hasn't boomed like I had hoped, so my next possible adventure may be getting into the cloth diaper world and selling those, however it's a lot upfront and I'm not sure how it will turn out in the end. So prayers please as I try to figure out God's Plan for me.

I promise to try and get back into blogging sorry it's been so dark around here lately :)
