I have had the amazing opportunity to be a preschool teacher. I have always loved and adored children, however I never though I would be where I'm at today; teaching children out of my home, it brings so much joy to my heart. Lately Faith has been asking where things come from and why, not the easy question of ... Where do babies come from?... But rather, Why is there construction?, Where did you get that car?, Why am I wearing this shirt?, Where did this cheese come from?, Why do I wear pants?... seriously, these are daily questions that my little girl asks, I think she has finally got to the age of wanting to know about the World around her, seriously though who could blame her? and my mom told me; "Laura how will she learn if she doesn't ask question." Moms are always right :)
Today, we decided to escape and soak up some sun while doing some chalk drawings. I was sitting down feeding Felicity and Faith starts drawing on the large tree in our front yard. I asked her to keep the chalk on the side walk, and she looked at me with her big brown eyes and says, "Mommy why? Will God be mad?" I couldn't help but laugh a little bit and say no Faith he won't be mad, God created the trees so go ahead and create something amazing on his creation.
