I think one of the hardest things about getting a new business up a running would definitely be, getting the word out there. I feel it is all about who you know and how you are going to promote your business. So do me a favor and spread the word :)

It has been a long process trying to connect and make friends in the area, being a young mom and having a mommy focused life instead of a party life hasn't really helped that situation, however I wouldn't change it for anything. I have joined a couple "Mommy Groups" that have really connected me with some amazing Moms.

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) Meets every other week. We try to do little get together at least once a week, but we are all busy mommies and sometimes it just doesn't work out. I have made such a strong bond with some of these women and I absolutely love the fellowship we have with one another every week. These Mommas are AWESOME !!

In this picture there is 6 pregnant mommas can you find them ??

This past weekend was Mother's Day. I got to spend the weekend with my AMAZING mother. We laughed a lot and we had a fun, but short visit. She also gave me a quick "how to" on her sewing machine. My good friend Jennifer has got me in the mood to learn how to sew, unfortunately I feel like I'm out of my element. But with her as my coach I think I can possibly sew... I started off slow and learned how to sew a button. I know it's sad and I didn't need a machine to do it. (Can you even use a machine to sew a button?) Anyways, wish me luck over the next few week as I ... Learn to sew.

I will have another post tonight with the WINNER for the Faith and Felicity Flower giveaway !!

  1. Yes! You can use a machine to sew a button. I still do most of mine by hand, though. Nice to meet you and your husband at the rummage sale on Saturday.
