I never thought I would ever have 5 girls, however over the weekend I got a brief preview of what life would be if I was a mommy to 5 girls... The oldest was our neighbor Isabel (9) and the youngest was Felicity (4 months) in between that I had Faith (3), Lauren (4) and Holly (2)... after watching the movie of the moment "Tangled" I decided to skip the painting of the nails and jumped right into the games. Hide in Go Seek is not so fun in a small house with restricted rooms (the girls ended up on the couch covering their eyes) I found it briefly entertaining ha ha (I love it when kids think you can't see them). Well that failed, so I busted out the board games ... an all time favorite !! TWISTER
We had a successful night overall and I had a blast with all the girls (No they did not ALL spend the night ;)... just in case you were wondering.)
I don't really have an amazing story about this next picture, other than how awesome it is too see in person... Faith yells "Hey it's MATER from cars!!" Sorry the picture isn't that great but I was trying to be some what discret...
Growing up I couldn't stand chocolate... I know it's crazy but you can ask anyone, I wouldn't eat brownies or chocolate cake or even s'mores during camping. However, while pregnant with Felicity I CRAVED chocolate. I don't know what it was with this girl, but she demanded chocolate and LOVED it. I still couldn't stand the taste so I would literally gag it down to make her happy. (The things a mother does for her child) Well, I'm still eating it now that she is almost 5 months and now and then I still crave it. Although, I don't have to gag it down anymore... I think I have actually acquired a taste for it. So, when we went out for ice cream the other day I ended up getting a hot fudge cookie dough chocolate chip brownie sundae... and I didn't think to take a picture until I was a few bites in already .... and I just realized the picture doesn't do it justice... so don't judge ;)
Felicity is becoming such a big girl, from eating cereal and bananas, to trying to get up on her hands and knees to crawl and even taking naps in her big girl crib every so often. This girl is always surprising us. The other night we were at some friends house for dinner and I had Felicity on my lap while we were eating. Felicity has begun to stare intently while you eat and lick her lips, and apparently she had had enough because she grabbed at my plate and managed to grab a baby tomato and almost reached her mouth... Unfortunately I don't have a picture but you could imagine it was pretty comical.
Faith finished up her Awanas Program last night... She will continue as a Cubby in the Fall but got an award for finishing her first Cubbies Book (Memorized almost 30 verses) GO Faith !!
Lastly... I'm entering the world of CLOTH DIAPERS... To Be Continued...
Here is a sneak peek ;)
